GRAPHICS ARTIST

Kriti creates from the heart, making work rooted in emotion and meaning. Her skills range from hand-lettering to pottery, crochet and woodwork, thanks to her multi-disciplinary training at Ahmedabad’s respected National Institute of Design.

Creative Review famously featured Kriti’s hand-illustrated event diaries after its then-editor spotted them at a design conference. Her work has also appeared in Asia Graphics Now, Elle, and Pool magazines. 

Kriti was formerly a partner at leading Delhi design agency Quick Brown Fox. She now runs independent studio Turmeric Design, which specialises in meaningful design projects and active collaborations with other creatives. Online and in the real world, Kriti is also known for her #typerventions: unexpected and playful installations that bring type alive using everyday spaces or objects. Past examples have used giant stencilled water letters, tealights, string and even cheese slices.
