Reshmin has forged her own path to become one of the most well-known women in the world of sport. Starting out with no connections or set career progression, she now presents all football coverage for BT Sport and also appears on TalkSport and the BBC.

 The early part of Reshmin’s career was spent in news, working in various reporting and assisting roles. Her break into sport came when she moved to Real Madrid TV, and became the very first journalist to interview Cristiano Ronaldo after his landmark signing. She credits her confidence in front of the camera to being brought up in a tight-knit Bangladeshi community, who organised regular cultural events at which she would sing or perform. This has also led to her doing side-gigs as a vocalist with Nitin Sawhney and recording vocals for The Namesake, thanks to her fluent Bengali.

Reshmin has gone on to win the Media Award at the Asian Football Awards and present at both the BT Sport Industry Awards and 2020 Tokyo Olympics. She is also a go-to host for European football across the season, as well as global events like the Best FIFA Football Awards and UEFA Champions League Draw.
