ART GALLERIST, ACTIVIST

Amar hails from a long line of celebrated activists, and is a champion for women’s and LGBTQ+ rights in India. He worked alongside Indian campaigners to help decriminalise homosexuality in 2018. He also set up a feminist art gallery supporting female, LGBTQ+ and other typically excluded artists. Amar regularly speaks on social justice issues, and is expanding into digital art to continue diversifying the world of art buying and collecting.
