Jyoty is a musical multi-hyphenate. Now a long-time Londoner, she started out in her hometown of Amsterdam – coming up through the local music scene before deciding to try her chances further afield.

In London Jyoty found herself on the doors of then-nightclub The Nest, where she found herself chatting to a steady stream of DJs, artists, managers and agents and eventually landing a co-hosted show on Rinse FM. It’s since evolved into a specialist show, on which Jyoty now hosts artists and nightclub connections from back in the day. Somewhere in between she has also found time to work for the Labour Party, an IT company and rack up roles at Boiler Room and Mixcloud.

When she’s not on the airwaves Jyoty is busy making a name for herself as a DJ, with one of her Boiler Room sets going viral on TikTok during the COVID-19 lockdown. She is also the co-founder and editor of The Move, an indie club-culture quarterly.
