VIVEK VADOLIYA
PHOTOGRAPHER
Vivek’s portfolio is intimate and inclusive. He captures communities and subcultures that are rarely seen through a lens, building a diverse visual narrative through both photo and film. His personal projects also explore bigger questions around identity and modern masculinity.
Ironically, Vivek fell out of love with photography while studying it at university. It was only later, after spending five years in advertising, that he missed it enough to make it his full-time career. Vivek’s work has now been commissioned by British Vogue, The Face, i-D and Elle India, and his client list includes Nike, Apple, Adobe and Ace & Tate. His photos have also been variously shortlisted for the Portrait Of Britain award, Portrait Of Humanity prize, Palm Studios Prize and at the Belfast Photo Festival.
Vivek has been additionally recognised for donating prints to several anti-racism fundraisers, and co-organising the Art For India initiative: a print sale supporting local Covid-19 relief efforts in Delhi and elsewhere.
